What’s this all about?

It’s about 17 mad men and women pushing themselves through pain and endurance barriers to hopefully raise a whole heap of cash for Marie Curie Cancer Care. These people will push their muscles, bones and mental strength to the limit in completing the challenge of 1053 miles in 11 days.
On Sunday 1st July 2012 at 8am we will depart from Stormont and cycle to Dail Eireann in Dublin, from Dublin we catch the overnight ferry to Liverpool, upon disembarkation we cycle along the English/Welsh Border to The Welsh Assembly in Cardiff. From Cardiff we go to Gloucester and Hemel Hempstead before arriving in London and the awaiting House of Commons. Then the mammoth slog from London to Edinburgh via York and Newcastle to arrive at the Scottish Assembly at Holyrood. From Edinburgh we travel to Cairnryan via Ayr to catch a ferry to arrive back to Larne before cycling the last 26 miles to reach our final destination of Stormont on the 11th July 2012 around 5.30pm. This epic journey is an original never before done challenge, so dig deep and help the guys and gals help Marie Curie Cancer Care
